CHINA - AFRICA - REPORT
for the United Nations Environment Programme
graphic design | editorial | illustration

As the pictures of the report were done by the participating scientists and engineers and not by professional photographers I decided to make illustrations which come to the fore. The illustrations recall engineering drawings but are playful at the same time. Every chapter of the report is introduced with one illustration which leads to the topic e.g rainwater harvesting. The report is based on two colors: red and blue. Blue stands for the United Nations cooperate color and water, as most of the projects in the report are connected to water. Red is a Pan African color and also stands for China.
The report was launched at the UNEP AMCEN conference in Cairo, Egypt in 2015.
